Office chair

sold + tax

This office chair – perhaps an architect’s chair? – dates back to the 1930s or 1940s. Although the manufacturer is unknown, the chair is marked with a B using the old German script. The foot is made out of beech and steel while beech and beech plywood have been used for the seat and backrest. All the wooden parts have been sanded down and treated several times with wood hard oil. The steel components have been brushed and treated with linseed oil. However, we’ve left the remains of the original varnish on the metal. The rotating seat is height-adjustable. The backrest is flexible and can also be adjusted in height.
