This very rare, explosion-proof light was produced by a small East German factory in the 1960s. The body consists of die-cast aluminium and contains an E27 socket made out of brass. The metal cage pushes the red safety glass and sealing rings firmly onto the body to provide maximum shielding from dust and gas. Well preserved, this signalling lamp is available in a hammertone finish or polished.
