This exquisite rubbish bin comes from an old factory in Tambach-Dietharz, a small town in the German region of Thuringia.
It probably dates back to the 1930s. It may have been made by Hanau, although there are no markings on the bin to confirm this.
This one-off item has been sandblasted, brushed and waxed.
