ARRI spotlight

sold + tax

This is an ARRI spotlight, ARRI being the trade name of Arnold & Richter, a company established in Munich in 1917. ARRI spotlights of this type were produced in the 1940s and 1950s – this one was originally designed for a 5,000 watt bulb. The aluminium has been sandblasted and polished. The electrics have been replaced and now feature an E40 socket. The spotlight is supplied with a 500-watt bulb, although higher wattages are also available on request. Using an oiled oak panel, the spotlight has been mounted on a fin-de-siècle machine stand, which has been sandblasted, brushed and waxed. In addition, the machine stand has been fitted with castors, one of which can be secured.
