Industrial Chic Rolling Console Table

€1.250 + tax

This industrial workbench origins from the former aircraft factory in Birmingham where among others the legendary British airplane „Spitfire“ was produced. A plate on the table refers to „Metal Box Co. Ltd.“ The massive revited angular steel construction moves on four cast iron wheels of which two are rigid.

The metal parts have been sandblasted, brushed and waxed. We also added two hand made oak frames, each with an 8 mm thick recessed glass top, fixed to the metal frame using vintage coach bolts.

The former tool table could now be used for several purposes such as serving trolley, side table, media console aswell as house bar.

Wooden Ladder Shelf

This leaning wall ladder from the 1920's/30's is an Original manufactured in a former Zwickau (Saxony) carpentry. The pinewood is sanded and treated with oil. This decorative piece can be used as a bookshelf and is a beautiful addition to any library aswell.

Locker with wooden frame and metal doors

To produce this industrial cabinet, we combined two doors from an old factory locker with a cabinet built by us out of spruce. One striking feature is the dovetailed corner joints which we’ve made by hand. The locker has four shelves. Perfect as storage space in your office, apartment or loft. The doors have been sandblasted, brushed and waxed.

Wall cupboard

These steel wall cupboards have a wonderfully simple design emanating from the Bauhaus and feature perforated metal doors. We have sandblasted the metal parts before brushing and varnishing it. Inside it contains a shelf made out of used pine wood treated with hard oil.

Industrial cupboard

To produce this industrial cupboard featuring a glass door with a cast iron frame, we combined an old factory window dating back to the 1920s with a cabinet built by us out of pine. One striking feature is the dovetailed corner joints which we’ve made by hand. Thanks to the movable shelf, the cupboard’s interior can be adapted as required. Moreover, additional shelves are available on request.

This item makes an ideal drinks cabinet or display case, or alternatively can simply be put to general use – it’s up to you! But whatever it’s used for, it’s definitely a very decorative piece of furniture for your home.

Four drawer file cabinet

This solid filing cabinet was made in East Germany in the 1950s or 1960s. It shares its design with filing cabinets produced in the early twentieth century by companies such as Kardex and Blödner.

This is just an example of the filing cabinets currently in stock at Goldstein, which feature minor variations in terms of handle shapes and nameplates. They are available within about a fortnight on request.

Rack unit

This rack was developed in the 1920s. It comprises four shelves and is available in various designs. It seems to be fairly rare – we've certainly not seen many of them!

Note that the photos merely shows an example in which the metal has been brushed and nickel-plated. Design variations are available on request – for example larger shelves.

The shelves shown here are made out of beech wood and have been treated with hard oil.
