These clocks were made in the 1950s and 1960s by the East German company RFT (Rundfunk- und Fernmelde-Technik). Apart from at railway stations, they were also used in industry and in public areas.
The 220V German-made clockwork mechanism has been overhauled by a clockmaker. The clock has a face on both sides and is lit up by three light bulbs.
You will find a similar RFT clock in our archive.
