This wooden dolly was built to shift heavy items. The addition of the glass top means it can now be used as, say, a coffee table. And of course, remove the glass and it’ll still make an excellent industrial dolly!
After completely dismantling the dolly, the metal components were sandblasted, brushed and waxed. We also sanded the wood and treated it with linseed oil before reassembling the dolly using wood adhesive. The glass tabletop is 10 mm thick. After smoothing down its edges, it was fixed in place using rubber attachments.
