This charming machine lamp made out of steel and brass with an oak base was probably made in the 1920s or 1930s. A one-off item, manufactured by Kandem. The metal is brushed, polished and waxed. The flex and plug are new. Originally the light was attached to a machine and so wasn’t fitted with a base. The oak base shown here was made by us and has been sanded and oiled.
