This theatrical spotlight was made in the 1950s or 1960s by Strand Electric, a company established in London in 1914. The aluminium has been treated using the Eloxal method. The stand is made out of a cast-iron transmission disk and a steel shaft, both relics of an antique machine. The electrics have been reconditioned, and the E27 socket can be fitted with a 500W bulb.
