The functional design of these lights was taken straight from the Bauhaus and remained unchanged when it was manufactured for a short time after the foundation of East Germany by VEB Leuchtenbau Leipzig. They feature an enamelled shade which is black on the outside and white inside. The junction box is made of re-polished aluminium. Fitted with a new porcelain socket for E27 bulbs.
