This late type of double fluorescent tube lamp was made in East Germany in the 1970s/80s. Mainly used in light industrial buildings. Simple, uncluttered design reminiscent of the Bauhaus. The two-part aluminium housing containing the fluorescent lamp ballast is centrally positioned. This type comes with black a Bakelite connection box. After having the enamel paint stripped, all parts of the light have been re-polished while the electrics have been upgraded. The fixture takes standard fluorescent tubes. On request we can alter the length of the pendulum.
