This enamelled industrial floor lamp was made in Leipzig in the 1950s by LBL (Leuchtenbau Leipzig), previously known as Körting und Mathiesen AG, the renowned manufacturer of Kandem light fittings.
The spotlight has been rewired and fitted with an E27 socket for standard light bulbs.
The stand is made out of a cast-iron transmission disk and a steel shaft, both relics of an antique machine.
